Sun Nepal Life holds AML, CFT & Governance training for staff

KATHMANDU: Sun Nepal Life Insurance recently organized a specialized training program on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Corporate Governance at Hotel Central Plaza in Kohalpur, aimed at enhancing staff capacity and ensuring regulatory compliance.
The training was conducted by Sushil Dev Subedi, Executive Director, and Padam Prasad Sodari, Deputy Director of the Nepal Insurance Authority.
They emphasized the global challenges posed by money laundering and terrorist financing, highlighting the critical need for the insurance sector to remain vigilant.
The program was attended by branch heads from Narayani, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, along with the company’s top executives including CEO Raj Kumar Aryal, Deputy CEO Kabi Phuyal, Chief Marketing Officer Ganesh Chaulagai, and other departmental heads.
Currently, Sun Nepal Life Insurance operates its life insurance business through 143 branches across the country.
