‘Siddhartha Fonepay Virtual Credit Card’ launched

KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Bank Limited has strengthened its digital offerings by launching the fully digital ‘Siddhartha Fonepay Virtual Credit Card’ in partnership with Fonepay Payment Service Limited.

With this virtual credit card, customers can make quick, secure, and contactless payments at over 1.8 million Fonepay QR merchants without the need for a physical card.
Designed with the needs of digitally active customers in mind, the card offers instant activation, real-time control, and enhanced security.
Through the BankSmartXP mobile banking app, customers can apply for, receive, and activate the card instantly.
The app also allows users to manage limits, lock/unlock the card, check statements, make payments, and perform other account management functions with ease.
To celebrate the launch, Siddhartha Bank is offering a 50% cashback on every transaction made with the virtual credit card, up to a maximum of Rs 750.
This cashback can be used to offset the membership fee. The offer is valid for a limited period, from Dec 7, 2025, to Jan 7, 2026.
This initiative provides customers with a seamless digital payment experience while enabling them to effectively manage their card membership costs.
