Gold & Silver prices rise slightly in domestic market

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold price increased by Rs 600 per tola, while silver rose by Rs 50 per tola.

KATHMANDU: The domestic market recorded a modest rise in precious metal prices on Sunday, with both gold and silver witnessing an upward trend.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold price increased by Rs 600 per tola, while silver rose by Rs 50 per tola.

With the latest adjustment, gold is being traded at Rs 287,300 per tola. Similarly, silver is priced at Rs 4,690 per tola.

On Friday, gold was traded at Rs 286,700 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 4,640 per tola, indicating a steady short-term gain in the domestic bullion market.

In the international market, gold is currently trading at around USD 4,155 per ounce, while silver is priced at approximately USD 64 per ounce, according to international media reports.
