KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Bank has been recognized with three prestigious awards by global payment service provider Visa International during the “Visa Leadership Conclave Nepal 2025, ,” where the bank participated as an Associate Client.
The awards were presented in recognition of the bank’s exceptional performance in digital payment services, commitment to business partnerships, and customer-centric approach.

The bank has been expanding its digital payment services, including credit cards, prepaid cards, and POS solutions, aiming to provide customers with secure, fast, and modern banking services.
These achievements reflect the bank’s service quality, technology-driven policies, and growing trust in the market.
As of Ashad 2082, a total of approximately 318,000 credit cards have been issued in the industry, with Siddhartha Bank accounting for around 60,000 cards, representing a 19% market share. In terms of transaction volume, the bank holds about 15% of the market.
Similarly, out of 250,000 prepaid cards issued, Siddhartha Bank holds around 34,000 cards.
Regarding POS transactions, the industry recorded approximately 12.5 million transactions, with Siddhartha Bank facilitating around 936,000 transactions, giving the bank an 8% market share.
