Shangri-la Bikas Bank donates IT equipment to Durbarmarg Police Station

KATHMANDU: Shangri-la Bikas Bank has provided two computers and a multifunction printer (scanner, copier, and printer) to the Durbarmarg Police Station.

The donation aims to support the police station’s operations after it was damaged in a recent fire during protests.

The bank stated that this initiative was part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.

The equipment was handed over on Tuesday by the bank’s Chief Operating Officer, Apoorva Prasad Joshi, to the station in-charge, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Shrestha.

Deputy Superintendent Shrestha expressed that while such support has made daily operations somewhat easier, the extent of the damage is significant, and further assistance is still needed.
