SC shuts for mourning after former judge Pradhan’s death

KATHMANDU: Supreme Court has declared a day of mourning following the death of former Supreme Court Justice Hargovinda Singh Pradhan, who passed away at the age of 97.

Court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala said the court premises would remain closed for the day, and no hearings will be conducted in the benches as a mark of respect.

Pradhan passed away on Maya 20, prompting the judiciary to observe the closure and express condolences over his demise.
