Sanima Reliance Life Insurance holds 9th Annual General Meeting
The meeting unanimously approved the Annual Report, Auditor’s Report, and the Financial Statements for the fiscal year 2081/82.
KATHMANDU: Sanima Reliance Life Insurance Limited successfully concluded its 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday at Shubh Events, Golfutar, Kathmandu.
The AGM was chaired by the company’s Chairman, Mr. Ratan Lal Kedia, who delivered the welcome address and presented the company’s annual report highlighting its overall performance and future direction.
The meeting unanimously approved the Annual Report, Auditor’s Report, and the Financial Statements for the fiscal year 2081/82.
Shareholders also endorsed the proposal to distribute a cash dividend of 10.1780 percent (including tax), amounting to Rs. 510,418,970, from the company’s paid-up capital of Rs. 5,014,924,056.
Additionally, the AGM approved the appointment of the auditor for the fiscal year 2081/82 and finalized their remuneration.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Shivnath Pandey highlighted the company’s steady progress, attributing its success to strong corporate governance, system enhancement, customer-centric services, agent-friendly incentive programs, expansion of branch networks, effective use of information technology, a robust internal control system, cost efficiency, high employee morale, and growing trust among policyholders.
He further stated that the company has been managing post-merger challenges with patience and strategic planning, successfully transforming itself into a strong, stable, and competitive insurer in the Nepalese insurance market.
The AGM concluded with Chair Mr. Kedia expressing sincere gratitude to all shareholders, distinguished guests, regulatory authorities including the Office of the Company Registrar, Nepal Insurance Authority, Securities Board of Nepal, board members, institutional partners, agents, policyholders, media professionals, and dedicated employees for their continued support.
