NIC Asia Bank partners with EFIX Nepal for 0% installment on Honor smartphones

KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank Limited has signed a bilateral agreement with EFIX Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the authorized reseller of Honor smartphones in Nepal, to provide special benefits to the bank’s customers and enhance their digital banking experience.
The agreement was signed by Narendra Mainali, Chief Transaction Banking at NIC Asia Bank, and Ashwin Gopal Sharma, IT Manager at EFIX Nepal.
Under this partnership, NIC Asia Bank credit card holders will be able to purchase Honor smartphones from efix.com.np at 0% interest and pay through attractive monthly installments. Customers can enjoy repayment plans of up to 12 months without any additional interest.
The bank has also made the installment conversion process easier through its portal instabuy.nicasiabank.com, where users can apply online and convert their purchases into monthly payments.
In addition, Nepali citizens living abroad will also be able to buy smartphones for their family members in Nepal by making payments through EFIX Nepal’s website using the bank’s advanced card-based online payment gateway powered by Cybersource.
The system supports both Visa and Mastercard issued by domestic and international banks.
NIC Asia Bank stated that the partnership aligns with its commitment to promoting digital payments and improving customer convenience.
The bank believes this collaboration will help reduce financial burden while offering a smoother and more accessible banking experience for its customers.
