KATHMANDU: Sanima Reliance Life Insurance Limited has provided relief support to families affected by recent disasters in Kalikot district under Karnali Province, distributing blankets to households impacted by heavy rainfall and fire incidents.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the company extended assistance to 43 households across various local levels affected between October 4–8, 2025 (Ashoj 18–24, 2082 BS).

The support covered disaster-hit families in Shubha Kalika Rural Municipality–Ward No. 7 and 8, Mahabai Rural Municipality–Ward No. 5 and 6, Khadachakra Municipality–Ward No. 1 and 5, and Tilagufa Municipality–Ward No. 7 and 10.

Fire-affected families from Tilagufa Municipality–Ward No. 5 and 6, as well as Khadachakra Municipality–Ward No. 10, were also included in the relief program.

The distribution program was conducted under the presence of the company’s Surkhet branch manager, Bishwaraj Bogati.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, stating that the support brought relief during difficult times and appreciated the company’s humanitarian commitment in reaching remote areas.

The company stated that it remains committed to strengthening its CSR activities in the coming days, focusing on key sectors such as education, health, environmental protection, financial literacy, and disaster management.
