RSP nominates Ashika Tamang for Dhading-1

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has announced Ashika Tamang as its candidate for the House of Representatives from Dhading-1.

On Monday, party leader Ganesh Parajuli officially handed over the nomination ticket to Tamang at RSP’s central office.

According to central party member Ojaswi Thapa, Tamang will contest the upcoming parliamentary elections from Dhading-1.

Earlier, Tamang had indicated plans to run as an independent from Kathmandu-9 or Kathmandu-2.

However, she has now opted to enter the race with RSP’s ticket from Dhading-1.
