RSP convention: Voting underway for top party posts

KATHMANDU: Voting has begun to elect office-bearers at the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) convention in Chitwan, with the second round of internal elections underway.

For the post of vice-president, the contest is between Sobita Gautam and Toshima Karki.

The general secretary race features Bipin Acharya, Manish Jha, Ranju Darshana, Ganesh Karki, and Sagar Dhakal.

In the competition for male co-general secretaries, candidates include Asim Shah, Ramesh Prasain, Yagya Mani Neupane, Sulabh Kharel, Ashok Kumar Chaudhary, Milan Limbu, Rajiv Khatri, Vijay Jairu, Hari Dhakal, and Himesh Pant.

For female co-general secretary, the contenders are Jolly Yadav, Vidushi Sharma, Kamini Kumari Chaudhary, Nisha Dangi, and Reema Bishwakarma.
