RSP appoints Bhupdev Shah as General Secretary

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has appointed Bhupdev Shah as its new General Secretary.

The decision was endorsed by the party’s Central Committee meeting held on Monday, according to party spokesperson Manish Jha.

Shah, who was previously serving as a Central Committee member, has been actively involved in the party’s organizational activities.

He had also worked closely within the secretariat when Prime Minister and former Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah joined RSP.

Shah is known as a close associate of Balen Shah and has previously served as his Chief Personal Secretary.

In the most recent House of Representatives election, Shah contested from Achham–2 constituency but was not elected.
