Rabi receives grand welcome at BJP office, political meetings begin
Upon his arrival, BJP President Nitin Navin greeted Lamichhane with a bouquet and formally welcomed him.
KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has begun a series of political engagements during his visit to India at the invitation of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Upon his arrival in New Delhi, Lamichhane was warmly welcomed at the BJP party headquarters with traditional ceremonies, flower garlands, and greetings from party leaders and cadres.
During the visit, he held discussions with BJP President Nitin Navin, where the Indian side briefed him on the party’s organizational structure and internal functioning.
According to RSP, the meeting focused on exchanging experiences between democratic forces of both countries, strengthening political relations, and exploring avenues for mutual cooperation.
On his five-day visit, Lamichhane is also scheduled to meet members of the Nepali diaspora and supporters in India. He will also visit Ayodhya as part of his itinerary.
