Rastriya Janamorcha opts out of NA Chair voting

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Janamorcha has decided not to participate in the voting for the post of the President of the National Assembly.

In Tuesday’s National Assembly meeting, Tul Prasad Bishwakarma, an MP representing Rastriya Janamorcha, announced that his party has chosen not to cast votes for any chairmanship candidate.

A proposal has been put forth suggesting Narayan Prasad Dahal, a Member of Parliament from the Maoist Centre representing the ruling alliance, and Yuvaraj Sharma from the Nepali Congress as potential candidates for the chairmanship position.
