RSP Parbat elects Pun as President

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has successfully concluded its first district convention in Parbat, electing Jal Bahadur Pun as the district President.
The ten-member district committee also includes Sharda Kumari Sharma as vice-president, Rameshwar Gautam as secretary, and Narayan Prasad Bhusal as joint secretary.
Other elected members are Dinesh Basyal, Birendra Bikram Malla Thakuri, Rasila Paudel Malla, Pratima Sharma Subedi, Thakkar Prasad Sharma, and Ganesh Prasad Sharma.
Inaugurating the convention, House of Representatives member Sagar Bhusal emphasized that party workers of the RSP should work in line with public expectations.
He also noted that representatives from all 61 wards of the district participated in the event.
According to organizers, conventions at all seven municipalities and 61 wards in the district had already been completed prior to the district-level assembly.
