Dahal elected RSP Sunsari President with 142 votes

KATHMANDU: Sagar Dahal has been elected as the chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Sunsari district committee, securing 142 votes, according to the election committee. His nearest rival Krishna Rauniyar received 74 votes.

In other key results, Rajeshman Shrestha was elected as vice-president with 197 votes, defeating his opponent Devika Bhandari, who secured 74 votes.

Rajaram Kumar Mehta has been elected as secretary, while Yogendra Giri was selected as joint secretary unopposed.

Among the elected members, Laxmi Subedi received 209 votes, Rajkumari Mehta 169, Dharmabeer Kumar Arya 112, Renuka Harijan 109, and Gokul Thapa 107 votes.
