Police seize 554 Kg of abandoned cannabis

KATHMANDU: Police in Sunsari at Amduwa, Duhabi, have recovered 554 kilograms of cannabis left abandoned in Harbani, Ward No. 4 of Barju Rural Municipality, officials said.

Acting on a special tip-off, the police team recovered the large quantity of cannabis from a bamboo grove in the area.

Authorities have launched a search for individuals involved in transporting the seized drugs.
