Nicholas Pandey elected Chair of Nepal Construction Entrepreneurs Association

KATHMANDU: Nicholas Pandey has been elected as the new Chair of the Nepal Construction Entrepreneurs Association after securing 514 votes, defeating his rival A. D. Lama, who received 413 votes.

Shivhari Ghimire won the post of general secretary with 527 votes, surpassing Balibhadra Rana, who garnered 380 votes.

Provincial vice-presidents elected include: Dhirendra Dahal (Koshi Province), Shambhu Thakur (Madhesh Province), Balkrishna Thapa (Bagmati Province), Khimprakash Malla (Gandaki Province), Shahadev Khadka (Lumbini Province), Himbahadur Budha (Karnali Province), and Prakashbahadur Shetty (Sudurpashchim Province).

Other key office-bearers elected are:

• Policy Deputy General Secretary: Mangal Shahi
• Internal Deputy General Secretary: Santosh Shah
• Women’s Vice-President: Ganga Pokhrel
• Treasurer: Ujjwal Gautam
• Deputy Treasurer: Upendra Ghising
