NIC Asia Bank CEO Neupane resigns; Santosh Rathi takes over
Khaniya stated that Neupane stepped down due to health issues.
KATHMANDU: Roshan Kumar Neupane, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NIC Asia Bank, has resigned from his position.
Neupane submitted his resignation on Wednesday, which was approved by the bank’s Board of Directors in a meeting held today, according to the bank’s spokesperson Arjan Khaniya.
Khaniya stated that Neupane stepped down due to health issues.
In an interview with Makalu Khabar, he added, “Since his tenure was already nearing its end and he needed about 5–6 months of rest, Roshan Kumar Neupane chose to resign from his position as CEO.”
Following his resignation, Santosh Rathi has been appointed as the Acting CEO of NIC Asia Bank.
The Board has entrusted Rathi, who previously served as the Deputy CEO, with the responsibilities of the permanent CEO.
