NEPSE surges as most sectors post gains

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a double-digit rise today, with the index climbing 18.37 points to close at 2,619.99.

Trading activity involved 325 companies, with 7.84 million shares exchanged across 55,078 transactions, totaling Rs 329.42 crore in turnover.

All sectoral indices rose except for the trading sector.

Swastik Laghubitta Financial Institution Ltd. and Narayani Development Bank Ltd. hit positive circuit limits, while Shwetganga Hydropower & Construction Ltd. recorded the largest decline.

Based on volume and value, Nadi Group Power Ltd. led the market with 494,184 shares traded, worth Rs 19.82 crore.
