NEPSE index declines by 11.52 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has dropped by 11.52 points today, marking a decline of 0.42% to stand at 2,708.25 points.

According to NEPSE, a total of 1,111,248,845 shares from 334 companies were traded in 58,087 transactions, amounting to a total turnover of Rs 4.4 billion (440,267,271.72).

While the share prices of 173 companies fell, 79 companies saw their share prices rise.

Among the companies experiencing a decline, Himalayan Star Energy Ltd. saw a 9.97% drop, NIBL Samriddhi Fund-2 experienced a 5.83% fall, and Universal Power Company saw a 5.12% decrease.

Similarly, Panchakanya Makai Hydropower Ltd. and Bikas Hydropower Company Ltd. saw their share prices decline by 4.62% and 3.92%, respectively.
