KATHMANDU: The Nepal Airline Operators’ Association has expressed serious concern over the recent attack on Simrik Air, which caused extensive physical damage.

In a statement issued today, the association highlighted that the private residence of outgoing president Ky. Rameshwar Thapa, as well as his company, Simrik Air, were damaged during the incident.

The statement noted that during the recent ‘Gen G’ movement, certain unruly and lawless individuals targeted the airline, putting its operations at serious risk.

The association has urged the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation, identify the perpetrators, and ensure strict action is taken against those responsible.
