Nepal Embassy Israel urges citizens in to remain vigilant

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Embassy in Israel has urged its citizens to strictly follow safety protocols as tensions escalate across the Middle East, raising concerns over potential security risks.

In a public advisory, the embassy called on Nepalis living in different parts of Israel to remain alert and adhere to local laws and regulations.

It also stressed the importance of staying updated on official information, including emergency alerts and siren warnings issued by Israeli authorities.

Citizens have been advised to remain calm and stay in their current locations while exercising heightened caution.

The embassy emphasised following all instructions issued by the Government of Israel and relevant official bodies.

The advisory further instructed individuals to immediately seek shelter in nearby bomb shelters upon hearing sirens or receiving SMS alerts, without delay or negligence.

Nepalis have also been encouraged to keep essential documents — such as passports, identification cards, driving licences and bank cards — readily accessible at all times.

Staying regularly informed about the evolving situation has been strongly recommended.

Additionally, the embassy urged people to refrain from unnecessarily sharing war-related content on social media, maintain regular contact with family and friends, and promptly reach out to the embassy in case of emergencies.
