KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Pradeep Paudel has submitted his election expenditure report to the Election Commission, revealing that he spent Rs 2,386,368 while contesting the House of Representatives seat from Kathmandu-5.

According to the report, the expenses covered various campaign activities, including publicity, event management, transportation, and office arrangements.

In the last parliamentary election, Paudel was defeated by Sasmita Pokharel of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

Pokharel secured 30,737 votes to claim victory, while Paudel received 9,159 votes.
