National Assembly concludes 19th session

KATHMANDU: The 19th session of the National Assembly officially ended at midnight on Friday.

President Ramchandra Paudel, acting on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, terminated the current session effective from 12:00 a.m. on 1st Falgun 2082.

During the assembly meeting, National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal formally announced the conclusion, reading a letter received from the President’s office.

According to Article 93(2) of the Constitution of Nepal, the government’s recommendation dated 26th Magh 2082 led to the President ending the session.

The letter issued on 29th Magh 2082 confirmed that the 19th session would automatically conclude at midnight on 1st Falgun 2082.
