Nabil Bank, TU renew ‘Nabil SSE’ partnership until 2028
Nabil Bank has been implementing the Nabil SSE initiative for the past four years under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments to promote and strengthen social entrepreneurship across Nepal.
KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank Limited and Tribhuvan University’s Faculty of Management have renewed their partnership to continue the Nabil School of Social Entrepreneurship (Nabil SSE) program until 2028.
The renewal agreement was signed at the Faculty of Management office by Nabil Bank CEO Manoj Kumar Gyawali and Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Mahananda Chalise. With the signing, the program will run uninterrupted for the next four years.

CEO Gyawali said the renewal further solidifies the collaboration between the two institutions and significantly supports the growth of social entrepreneurship in the country. Highlighting the program’s positive impact, he added,
Nabil Bank has always supported initiatives that add value to the local economy, bring positive change to communities, and help students and entrepreneurs enhance their capabilities. We will continue to advance this program further.
Dean Prof. Dr. Chalise stated that the Faculty of Management has been moving towards making its curriculum more relevant and practical, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship development.
Industry–academic partnerships can bring deep impact in research, learning, and community engagement, and the collaboration established through Nabil SSE is a remarkable example, he said.
About the Nabil SSE Program
The program aims to promote social entrepreneurship and empower individuals working at the community level. It operates two modules: a Fellowship Program and a Certificate Course.
Fellowship Program

Duration: Six months of training plus one year of mentorship

Target: Social entrepreneurs working on innovation and new ideas

Benefits: Mentorship, networking opportunities, and improved access to finance
In the past four years, 96 social entrepreneurs have participated in the fellowship, leading to the establishment of 62 enterprises, directly benefiting more than 14,000 people, according to Nabil Bank.
Certificate Course

Conducted across all seven provinces

Three-month duration in collaboration with various educational institutions
So far, 1,069 entrepreneurs have benefited from this course, establishing 131 enterprises and creating over 2,600 jobs.
