Minister Bhandari inaugurates Nepal Electric & Electronics expo
The exhibition will run at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, until Bhadra 15.
KATHMANDU: Honorable Damodar Bhandari, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies inaugurated the 4th edition of the Nepal Electric Power & Lights and Nepal Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances International Exhibition on Friday at Bhrikutimandap.
The exhibition is jointly organized by Media Space Solutions, Futurex Trade Fair & Events, and Exhibition & Trade Services India Pvt. Ltd., with support from the Nepal Electricity Authority and the Nepal Solar Power Producers Association.
The event features over 100 stalls from both domestic and international companies, showcasing state-of-the-art transmission and distribution equipment, energy supply and control devices, house wiring materials, cables and conductors, advanced switches, LED lighting, electronics, home appliances, charging stations, batteries, office electrical technologies, and other electrical products.
Speaking at the inauguration, Minister Bhandari emphasized the vast potential for exporting Nepali-made electrical and electronic products.
He expressed optimism after seeing the participation of several national and international brands, highlighting the growing prospects for energy-related products in Nepal.

The exhibition aims to promote and support the use of electrical devices, foster the growth of quality electrical products, and facilitate both domestic and international trade in the sector.
Scheduled a few weeks ahead of the major Nepali festival of Dashain, the exhibition offers visitors easy access to a wide range of national and international brands.
It brings together entrepreneurs from electricity, electronics, communications, IT, and alternative energy sectors, enabling business promotion, information exchange on the latest innovations, and spreading awareness about efficient energy consumption among consumers.
The Nepal Electric Power & Consumer Electronics Exhibition serves as a central platform for collaboration, business opportunities, and networking among industries engaged in electricity, electronics, household electrical products, and energy-related sectors.
By encouraging the use of modern electrical technologies and increasing consumption of the country’s growing hydropower production, the exhibition aims to strengthen Nepal’s economy and contribute to the overall development and business promotion of the energy and electronics industry.
