Minab School bombing: Memorial held for 175+ victims

KATHMANDU: A memorial ceremony was held on Monday to honor the victims of the deadly bombing at Minab Primary School in southern Iran, an attack widely attributed to U.S.–Israeli forces.

The Feb 28 strike claimed the lives of more than 175 people, the majority of them children, marking one of the deadliest incidents involving a school in recent times.

Officials, artists, and civilians gathered at Tehran’s City Theater to pay tribute to the victims, condemn the targeting of educational institutions, and call for international accountability over the attack.
