KATHMANDU: Midea has launched its new 198-litre hard-top single-door chest freezer (Model: MDRC362FZG43D) in the Nepali market, targeting both modern households and commercial users with a blend of powerful freezing performance, energy efficiency, and smart features.

The newly unveiled chest freezer comes equipped with Deep Freezing Technology that can reach temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius, helping preserve the freshness, taste, and nutritional value of food items for extended periods.

The appliance also features Fast Freezing Technology, designed to freeze food rapidly and maintain long-lasting freshness.

According to the company, the freezer integrates Inverter Quattro Technology, ensuring lower electricity consumption, faster cooling performance, and quieter operation. With a noise level of just 37 decibels, the product is considered suitable for both home and business environments.

The model further includes Four-Side Cooling Technology and a D+ Cooling System, which distribute cooling evenly throughout the interior to maintain a stable temperature.

A convertible feature allows users to conveniently switch between freezer and refrigerator modes as needed.

Keeping Nepal’s fluctuating power supply conditions in mind, Midea has also incorporated wide voltage support and outage memory functionality into the appliance.

The company claims the freezer can retain cooling for a long duration even during power interruptions.

Featuring a stylish curved design, multi-angle hover door, and large storage capacity, the 198-litre chest freezer is expected to become a reliable choice for modern kitchens and commercial applications alike.

Available in Nepal through CG Electronics, Midea products — including washing machines, refrigerators, microwaves, air fryers, kitchen appliances, fans, and heaters — have been gaining popularity among Nepali consumers for their advanced technology, energy efficiency, powerful performance, and durable quality.
