Makalu Khabar to organize ‘Laughter for Life and Motivation’ with Extreme Energy Drink

KATHMANDU: Makalu Khabar is set to launch a unique motivational entertainment program titled “Laughter for Life and Motivation”, aimed at inspiring Nepali youth through the power of comedy and positive messaging.

The program seeks to blend entertainment with meaningful motivation, encouraging young people to develop a positive outlook on life and discover their true goals and potential.

The tour will kick off on Jestha 9 (May 23) in Kathmandu and conclude on Jestha 22 (June 5) in Itahari.

It will cover major cities across the country, including:

  • Jestha 9 (May 23): Kathmandu (Opening)
  • Jestha 15 (May 29): Pokhara
  • Jestha 16 (May 30): Butwal
  • Jestha 17 (May 31): Chitwan
  • Jestha 19 (June 2): Birgunj
  • Jestha 21 (June 4): Birtamode
  • Jestha 22 (June 5): Itahari (Grand Finale)

Popular comedian and presenter Sandeep Chhetri, along with his band, will headline the performances.

Organizers expect the tour to reach over 22,000 young people across Nepal.

Speaking about the initiative, Makalu Khabar’s Managing Director C.R. Basnet said the program will help youth identify their real ambitions through the medium of entertainment.

Extreme Energy Drink is the main sponsor of the event. A tripartite agreement was signed between Makalu Media Network Pvt. Ltd., Agro Thai Foods Pvt. Ltd. (makers of Extreme Energy Drink), and Sushree Media Agency.

The agreement was signed by C.R. Basnet (Makalu Media), Sujal Rana (Program Manager, Agro Thai Foods), and Suman Adhikari (Director, Sushree Media).

Describing the tour as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Makalu Khabar expressed confidence that the program will provide young participants with clearer vision for their future and renewed energy.

Entry to all shows will be completely free for youth.
