Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank wins prestigious ‘Asset Quality’ award in India

KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, known for providing cutting-edge, secure, and convenient banking services, has been honored with a prestigious award by the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Kolkata.
The bank received recognition in the “Asset Quality” category.
The award was presented at the 3rd Emerging Asia Banking Conclave & Awards held on Aug 29, 2025, in New Delhi.
The event, one of the most esteemed banking conclaves in the BIMSTEC region, saw participation from leading banks across India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar, and Bangladesh.
Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank was recognized for its exemplary work in asset structuring, efficient utilization of assets, and significant improvements in asset quality.
The bank believes that this accolade will further strengthen its international reputation and recognition.
Recently, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank also entered into a cross-border financial services agreement with HDFC Bank, one of India’s leading financial institutions.
