KATHMANDU: Independent Member of Parliament from Myagdi, Mahabir Pun, has publicly released his asset details, underscoring his commitment to transparency.

According to the disclosure, his wife owns approximately three tolas of gold, stated to have been received as gifts from relatives.
Pun also revealed cash deposits of Rs 400,000 in Nepal Bank Limited and Rs 2.5 million in Rastriya Banijya Bank.
He clarified that the amount in Rastriya Banijya Bank was collected as election donations.
In terms of property, Pun reported owning around 27 ropani, 15 aana, and 4 paisa of land across multiple plots in Kaski District.
The move has been viewed as a strong gesture toward accountability and open governance.
