Madhesh Province cabinet complete with 6 new ministers

KATHMANDU: About a month after Chief Minister Krishna Yadav formed a new government in Madhesh Province, the provincial cabinet has now been completed.

Six newly appointed ministers took the oath of office and secrecy today at Madhesh Bhawan in Janakpur before Province Head Dr. Surendra Lalv Karn.

Manish Kumar Suman has been assigned the Ministry of Labor and Transport, while Rajkumar Gupta will head the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development.

Shankar Prasad Chaudhary takes charge of the Ministry of Forests and Environment, Shyam Prasad Patel of the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture, and Cooperatives, Basanta Kumar Kushwaha of the Ministry of Sports and Social Welfare, and Fakira Mahtol of the Ministry of Home, Communication, and Law.

With the new appointments, the Madhesh Province government is expected to step up its administrative activities.
