KATHMANDU: Acting Chief Minister of Madhesh Province and Janamat Party leader Satish Kumar Singh has formally joined the newly formed Janaswaraj Party.

Singh arrived at the Madhesh Province Election Office on Wednesday to complete his formal registration, but Janamat Party workers attempted to block him.
Supporters of Janamat Party chief Dr. Chandrakant Raut, some carrying brooms and sticks, protested against Singh’s registration.
The confrontation briefly escalated into a tense clash between Singh’s supporters and Raut’s faction.
Alongside CM Singh, Janamat Party MP and former minister Tribhuwan Sah also joined the Janaswaraj Party.
