Machhapuchchhre Bank, Joyalukkas Exchange partner to simplify remittances from UAE

KATHMANDU: Machhapuchchhre Bank Ltd. has signed a formal agreement with Joyalukkas Exchange in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to make remittances from abroad to Nepal easier, faster, and more reliable.

Under this partnership, Nepalis living in the UAE can send money to Nepal through over 30 Joyalukkas Exchange branches.

Recipients in Nepal can conveniently receive funds through Machhapuchchhre Bank’s 165 branches, 11 extension counters, branchless banking services, and over 20,000 remittance agents across the country.

The agreement also ensures that funds sent via MBL Remit from Joy Alukkas Exchange are instantly credited to any bank account in Nepal.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Marish Kumar Karn, General Manager of Joyalukkas Exchange, and Prasiddha Raj Aryal, Deputy CEO of Machhapuchchhre Bank.

This collaboration aims to provide Nepalis abroad with a seamless and trustworthy channel for sending money home.
