Laxmi Technoplast pledges 1% of sales for national reconstruction
Officials believe this initiative will not only support reconstruction but also foster self-reliance, unity, and positive energy nationwide.
KATHMANDU: Om Shivam Pipes & Fittings and Marigold Furniture’s subsidiary, Laxmi Technoplast Limited, has announced a historic initiative to contribute 1% of its total sales over the next three months to Nepal’s national reconstruction efforts.
Embracing the national motto, “We Build Our Own Structures”, the company stated that a portion of its sales revenue will be dedicated to rebuilding damaged structures across the country.
Officials believe this initiative will not only support reconstruction but also foster self-reliance, unity, and positive energy nationwide.
Speaking on the initiative, Managing Director Anjani Nandan Maru said, “This is our country, and its assets and structures are our pride. We are fully committed to every effort of reconstruction. It is our duty and responsibility.”
Laxmi Technoplast, which is preparing to launch a public share offering in the near future, said this step strengthens its commitment to corporate social responsibility while setting a benchmark for meaningful contributions to Nepal’s development.
