Labour contribution key to sustainable development: Sampang

KATHMANDU: Shram Sanskriti Party Chairperson and Dharan Sub-Metropolitan Chief Harka Raj Sampang Rai has said that voluntary labour contribution is indispensable for the country’s sustainable development.
Speaking at a programme in Dharan today, where the party’s manifesto and agenda were made public, Sampang stressed that citizens must be connected with the nation and its soil. “Relying only on planned projects and budgets slows development. For faster progress, labour contribution is essential,” he said.
He added that development carried out through labour contribution ensures direct public participation.
Sampang also clarified that the Shram Sanskriti Party was formed with the aim of promoting sustainable national development through a culture of collective labour.
“The party’s goal is not only to value labour but also to ensure justice for those who work. Our efforts in this direction will continue,” Chairperson Sampang stated.
