Kathmandu Metropolis 19th Assembly on June 14

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City has decided to convene its 19th Municipal Assembly session on Jestha 31 (Sunday) at 11 AM at the National Assembly Hall.
The decision was made during the 50th meeting of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Executive Committee held on Tuesday.
Acting Mayor Sunita Dangol informed that the first meeting of the 19th session will formally begin at the scheduled time following the approved proposal.
“The 19th Municipal Assembly session of Kathmandu Metropolitan City will be held on Jestha 31, Sunday at 11 AM at the National Assembly Hall,” she said while presenting the proposal for approval.
The meeting also approved the local curriculum in Nepal Bhasa, along with curricula for early childhood development and pre-primary levels.
According to the metropolis, Nepal Bhasa education is already being taught up to Grade 8 in schools within Kathmandu, and the new curriculum will extend its implementation to the pre-primary level as well.
