Kathmandu Marriott Hotel extends support to Prisoners Assistance Nepal through CSR initiative

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, operating under Everest Hospitality and Hotel Ltd., reached out to one of Kathmandu’s most deserving communities by donating cash and lunch to Prisoners Assistance Nepal, located in Sankhu.
The handover ceremony took place at the premises of Prisoners Assistance Nepal, where the Owner of Everest Hospitality and Hotel Ltd. personally presented a cash donation of One Lakh Rupees along with lunch for 200 children to the organization.

Prisoners Assistance Nepal is an organization primarily focused on the complete care of children whose parents are in prison. The organization works tirelessly to ensure these children receive the support, love, and opportunities they deserve, while also striving to transform prisons into places that help prisoners build a worthwhile future. Contributions like this go a long way in restoring dignity and hope to both the children and their families.
The cash donation will assist the organization in meeting its operational needs, while the lunch will provide immediate nourishment to 200 children in their care.
Speaking on the occasion, Gaurav Agrawal, the Managing director of Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, shared that, “No child should suffer for circumstances beyond their control.
These children have already faced more than their share of hardship, and it is the responsibility of all of us to ensure they grow up with dignity, care, and hope for a better future.”
