NPL Day 2: Chitwan Rhinos to bowl first against Karnali Yaks

KATHMANDU: The second day of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) sees Chitwan Rhinos take on Karnali Yaks, with Chitwan winning the toss and opting to bowl. Both teams are aiming for a strong start to the league.

Chitwan, led by young captain Kushal Malla, has retained Sohail Tanbir and Ravi Bopara for this season.

Karnali, under the leadership of Sompal Kami, will feature three national team pacers, while relying on foreign players for their batting strength.

Yesterday, in the season opener, Kathmandu Gorkhas stunned defending champions Janakpur Bolts by 5 wickets, making a spectacular start to the tournament.

Today’s second match will feature Biratnagar Kings taking on Pokhara Avengers.
