KATHMANDU: The construction of a bridge over the Bhuji Khola (Bhuji rivulet) in Baglung has been in limbo for 10 years- immediately after commencement of project.

The structures established so far have started deteriorating.

The project is based in Dhorpatan Municipality-5.

Its pillars erected for the bridge started rusting, according to a local Shivraj Kandel.

The locals have said Rs 20 million invested in the project as of now is a sheer waste.

It is said the Road Division Office has also terminated the contract after the construction company failed to complete it on time.

Office chief Hari Prasad Subedi, however, informed that a fresh proposal for a new bidding and revised design of the bridge was sent to the federal government, seeking an approval.
