Jailed Rayamajhi nominated as UML candidate from Arghakhanchi

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has recommended five candidates for the upcoming House of Representatives election in Arghakhanchi, scheduled for Falgun 21 (March 5).

The list includes former Home Minister and UML ex-Secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, who is currently in jail facing trial in the fake Bhutanese refugee case.

Alongside him, Pitambar Bhusal, Bombahadur Bishwakarma, Jabahadur Shah, and Bijula Rayamajhi have been recommended by the district committee.

The final approval of the candidates will be decided at the central committee after review by the provincial committee.
