Israeli drone strike kills 11 in Gaza refugee

KATHMANDU: At least 11 Palestinians were killed on Monday in an Israeli drone strike targeting the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, according to Palestinian security and medical sources.

The incident occurred amid armed clashes in the eastern part of the camp between Hamas security forces and individuals accused of collaborating with Israel.

During the confrontation, Israeli drones reportedly intervened, launching live fire and missile strikes that caused multiple casualties.

Medical officials confirmed the death toll and reported that several others were wounded, some critically.

The injured were rushed to Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah for treatment.

The Israeli military has not issued an immediate statement regarding the incident.
