KATHMANDU: Iran has reported extensive damage to its cultural heritage following recent US and Israeli attacks, with 131 historical sites affected across 20 provinces, according to a senior Iranian minister.
Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Seyyed Reza Salehi-Amiri, said that Tehran suffered the most severe impact, where 63 key historical, cultural, and civilizational sites were damaged.
