KATHMANDU: India delivered a dominant performance against Namibia in the T20 World Cup 2026 on Thursday, defeating them by a massive 93-run margin.

This victory marked India’s second consecutive win in Group A, earning them four points and propelling them to the top of the group alongside Pakistan, who also have four points.

Namibia’s batsmen struggled against India’s disciplined bowling attack. Opener Laurens Stynkamp scored 29, while Jacques Frylinck made 22.

For India, Varun Chakravarthy claimed 3 wickets for just 7 runs, Akshar Patel took 2 for 20, and Hardik Pandya also picked up 2 wickets for 21 runs.

Earlier, India posted a challenging total of 209 for 9 after being invited to bat. Ishan Kishan played a spectacular innings, scoring 61 runs off just 24 balls, including 6 fours and 5 sixes.

Sanju Samson contributed 22, while Tilak Varma added 25.

Hardik Pandya finished strongly with 52 runs off 28 balls, and Shivam Dubey supported with 23 runs off 16 balls.
