KATHMANDU: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deepak Thapa bade farewell to Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Lalmani Acharya, who recently retired from Nepal Police, amid a special ceremony held at the Nepal Police Headquarters on Sunday.

Speaking at the farewell event, IGP Thapa praised AIG Acharya for his exemplary service, highlighting his high level of professionalism, unwavering dedication, integrity, and loyalty to the organization throughout his tenure.

On the occasion, IGP Thapa also presented a token of love to the retiring officer in recognition of his contributions to the force.

In his address, AIG Lalmani Acharya reflected on his years of service, sharing valuable experiences and expressing gratitude to his colleagues and the institution.

AIG Acharya began his policing career on Kartik 27, 2052 BS as a police inspector.

He retired on Jestha 10, 2082 BS upon reaching the mandatory retirement age.

The event was attended by fellow Additional Inspector Generals, Deputy Inspector Generals, and other senior police officials.
