Hundreds of youth join Congress in Nawalparasi West-1

KATHMANDU: As the March 5 House of Representatives election approaches, the Nepali Congress is witnessing a significant surge in new members in Nawalparasi West-1.

Local leaders report that a growing number of individuals, particularly from the Rastriya Swatantra Party and CPN-UML, are joining the Congress, signaling increasing support for the party in the constituency.

A large number of youth formally joined the party during the inauguration of the Election Campaign Committee office in Bhatauliya, Bardghat Municipality-12.

Central committee member and Nepali Congress candidate for Nawalparasi West-1, Binod Chaudhary, welcomed the new entrants with tika and garlands.

Among those joining were Manu Rana, Santosh Kunwar, Ishaq Ansari, Manurana Bhatauliya, Vijay Tiwari, Prajwal Tharu, Kamal Acharya Birahi, Vimanand Chaudhary, Gajani Chaudhary, Diwakar Bhusal, Laxmi Bhusal, and Shyam Pathri.

In his welcome address, Chaudhary highlighted that the Congress is moving toward timely reforms to address the aspirations and ambitions of young people.

He added that hundreds of youths have joined the party in just the past few days.
