Govt to provide Rs 1M to family of Bipin Joshi

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to provide financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh  (1 million) to the family of Bipin Joshi, who lost his life while studying in Israel.

Government spokesperson and Minister for Education Sasmit Pokharel said the decision was taken during a Cabinet meeting.

He stated that Joshi had gone to Israel under the “Learn and Earn” program for studies when he died in an incident in Gaza.

The government has decided to extend the support of Rs 10 lakh to his bereaved family.
