KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices in the domestic market have increased significantly today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has risen by Rs 5,600 per tola, reaching Rs 290,600.
Similarly, silver has increased by Rs 175 per tola, now trading at Rs 5,040.
On Thursday, gold was priced at Rs 285,000 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 4,865.
On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 290,500 per tola and silver at Rs 5,080.
In the international market, gold is trading at around $4,500 per ounce, while silver is priced at $77 per ounce, according to international media reports.
