Gold & silver prices rise again
On Thursday, Chhapawal gold was traded at Rs 298,600 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 5,155 per tola.
KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices in the domestic market continued their upward trend on Friday, increasing further compared to Thursday.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the price of Chhapwal gold rose by Rs 1,300 per tola, reaching Rs 299,900.
Similarly, silver increased by Rs 120 per tola, settling at Rs 5,275.
On Thursday, Chhapawal gold was traded at Rs 298,600 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 5,155 per tola.
Earlier on Wednesday, gold was priced at Rs 296,800 per tola and silver at Rs 5,050 per tola, showing a consistent upward movement over the past three trading days.
In the international market, gold is currently being traded at around 4,715 US dollars per ounce, while silver is priced at approximately 79 US dollars per ounce, according to international media reports.
